Anuradha Rout

I am Anuradha Rout, currently pursuing a Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Yuliya Semenova at the Technological University Dublin. I received M.Sc. in Physics from Gandhi Institute of Technology, India in 2018.  After my masters, I did several projects on ultrafast laser ablation of metals and semiconductor materials and their nonlinear optical studies in the Nonlinear Optics group at Changchun Institute of Fine Optics and Mechanics, China. My current research focuses on applications of a Quantum dot (QD) doped optical fiber laser for environmental and medical devices. The remarkable specific area for the development of a novel and high-power QD doped fiber laser with tunable broadband and excellent beam quality. We are expecting to develop more sensitive and selective nanosensors.
