Apurva Kiran Vangujar

PhD Student, University College Cork

Biography: Apurva Kiran Vangujar is a PhD student in the ADVANCE group in Computer Science at University College Cork. She is working under the supervision of Dr. Paolo Palmieri and Dr. Dirk Pesch. Her research is primarily concerned with the privacy and security of data. She received her M.Eng.Sci by research in Cryptography from Multimedia University Malaysia in 2020 with a full scholarship and B.E in Computer Science from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University India in 2015. She has 3.5 years of work experience in IT companies from the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and India. In her past research studies, she has focused on cryptography concepts such as Identification Schemes, Digital Signatures, Zero-Knowledge protocol, security proofs, and Multiparty Computations. She is passionate to represent her work at international conferences and publish journal papers. In her spare time, she loves to travel solo and explore different cultures.
