Dr. Bernd-Ludwig Wenning

Biography: Dr Bernd-Ludwig Wenning is a Research Fellow in CIT’s Nimbus Centre, with a background in Communication Networks. He holds Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees in electrical engineering and information technology from the University of Bremen, Germany. From 2002 to 2012, he was a researcher at the Communication Networks group, University of Bremen. In 2012 he moved from Germany to Ireland to join the research team at CIT’s Nimbus Centre. Throughout his research career, he has worked on various national and EU funded projects in Germany and Ireland. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 publications.

Research Interests: Mobile and wireless communication networks, V2X communication, protocols and Quality of Service.
