Dr. Katarina Domijan

Biography:  I am an assistant professor in the Dept of Mathematics and Statistics and an affiliate of the Hamilton Institute at Maynooth University. Previously I was a statistician in AgResearch NZ. I have degrees from University of Auckland (BSc. Mathematics), University of Waikato (Master of Computing and Mathematical Sciences) and Trinity College Dublin (PhD Statistics). My research interests lie in statistics and machine learning for data of complex structure that arise in a variety of applications.

Research Interests: Machine learning, Bayesian statistics, statistical computing, visualization, survey data.
