Dr. Mohammed Hasanuzzaman

Biography: Dr. Mohammed Hasanuzzaman is a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Cork Institute of Technology, Ireland. He is also a member of the ADAPT Centre- Ireland’s global centre of excellence for digital content and media innovation and funded investigator of Science Foundation Ireland, Ireland.

 

Mohammed earned his doctorate degree from the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) Lab hosted at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Caen – ENSICAEN and University of Caen Normandie, France. He has published papers in a range of highly respected journals and conferences including Nature, PLOSOne, IEEE Intelligent Systems, IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing, ACM Transactions on Knowledge Discovery from Data, ACL, SIGIR, NAACL, COLING, EACL, CoNLL, Hypertext, ECAI, ESWC, IJCNLP. He is involved in several European and National projects as PI/Co-PI such as WARIFA, ITFLOWS, STOP, SuPRiM, and MOVES. Mohammed is recipient of several awards such as the French Ministry of Superior Education and Research Fellowship, Government of France for his doctoral studies, Erasmus+ staff mobility for teaching and training and Dublin City University’s Award for Engagement with Business/Industry for the year 2018. He was involved in many international conferences such as ACL, NAACL, COLING, EACL and organized workshops in leading conferences such as CIKM and TPDL. Research Interests: Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, Psycholinguistics and Social Media Analytics.
