Gabriela Morillo

PhD Student, University College Cork (UCC)

Gabriela received her MSc. in Computer Communication Networks at Brunel University London in the United Kingdom and her Engineering in Electronics and Network Information at The National Polytechnic School in Ecuador. Her experience includes five years in the Telecomms. industry, she successfully delivered projects for multinational organisations as part of the engineering team.

Her research interests include the development of new, disruptive, and sustainable solutions at the lowest environmental and economic cost. At ADVANCE CRT, she is focusing on the security issues for IoT that will contribute to safeguarding sensitive information of the end-user avoiding attacks of capacity and data theft, allowing location privacy and data security.
