Gizem Yardimci

Biography: Gizem is a doctoral researcher in the Department of Law, Maynooth University, under the supervision of Dr. David Mangan and Professor Aphra Kerr. Her research interests are Artificial Intelligence Law, Data Protection, UAVs, and Human Rights. Before starting this PhD, Gizem holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Marmara University and a master’s degree in Human Rights from Ankara University, Turkey. Besides academic studies, she worked for the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Republic of Turkey as an aviation expert for six years. In addition, she has been a member of the Ankara Bar Association as a lawyer since 2014.
