Project Title: Exploring the impact of using connected digital technology among visually impaired persons in low and middle income countries.

Biography: Grevet Smith Moyo is a PhD student in the Department of Psychology at Maynooth University under the ADVANCE CRT Programme. His research interests are in the areas of digital technology, disability, rehabilitation, interface between persons with disabilities and assistive technology. He has seven years working experience gained predominantly in  assistive technologies, disability and policy development. Recently, he worked as Program Associate, Assistive Technologies for Clinton Health Access Initiative in Malawi. His current research project aims to explore the impact of using connected digital technology among visually impaired persons in low and middle income countries. He earned a Master of Science in Community Health and Development from Great Lakes University of Kisumu in Kenya.
