Biography: 

Isabel Ronan is a multi-disciplinary PhD researcher with a background in music. After her undergraduate BMus degree, she completed a MSc in Interactive Media to transition into the world of Computer Science. Her research interests include sensor technology, palliative care interventions, machine learning applications, sonification, and data visualisation. Coming from a non-traditional computer science background, Isabel aims to use her past interdisciplinary research experience to augment her future work. Her research focuses on using machine learning to improve the lives of others, specifically within the health and biological domains.
