Kristin Bracewell

PhD Student, Munster Technological University

My name is Kristin Bracewell and I am a PhD student at MTU under the supervision of Dr Irene Sheridan and Dr Stephen Cassidy.  I have a Masters in E-Learning Design and Development, a Higher Diploma in Cloud Computing, and a Bachelors in Sociology. I worked in training development, instructional design, and information development for a variety of companies ranging from small start-ups to large multinationals in Ireland and Canada.  I believe strongly in engaging industry and community in education and, as most of my qualifications were earned as a mature student and while working, in continuing education at all ages and stages of work. My research looks at understanding and designing work placements in doctoral programs.
