Project Title: Innovation in Digital Health Sector: Building Entrepreneurial Consortiums

Biography: I grew up in a tech-oriented household and as a child my biggest weekend getaway was to visit my dad’s work place so I could see all the fantastic giant machines (I mean mainframes). I always adored technology and I still love the idea how technology can make human’s life easier and more wonderful. So, probably that is one of the basic reasons that I am a PhD student under ADVANCE CRT program at Department of Management and Enterprise CIT, Munster Technological University, Cork. Through my doctoral research I intend to propose an idea of making people’s lives a wonderful experience particularly in health domain by integrating entrepreneurial consortiums and ‘my inherited field’ technology. My career story starts with nothing but one single goal ‘innovation brings change’. After my honors from University of the Punjab, Pakistan, I joined Bata Pakistan Ltd. for developing fashion brands while establishing liaisons with international entrepreneurs. Though I loved to work in multi-cultural environment there, yet I craved for serving people, thus I started my own entrepreneurial firm (AIM Concerns) for research and training of innovative entrepreneurs. Alongside, I have also worked as head of marketing team at a hospital to implement five year project aligned with HIMS. Before arriving at the lovely city of Cork, I also worked as a researcher and lecturer for three years at NCBA&E University Lahore, Pakistan. My desire to learn and my work experience of a decade in multiple sectors made me suitable for a PhD in a multi-disciplinary area. My personal interests are reading, travelling, fashion blogging, networking and enjoying leisure time with my niece.
