Project Title: Co-ordinated, Congestion-Reduced and Reliable Travel Time in Autonomous and Conventional Vehicles Using AI

Biography: Shaguna Gupta is a first-year Ph.D. student in the School of Computer Science and Statistics (SCSS) at TCD, Ireland. She is working under the supervision of Prof. Vinny Cahill. Her research includes the implementation of optimized and robust non-stationary systems focusing on traffic congestion and vehicle flow. Shaguna Gupta is from the northernmost part of India, Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). She has obtained M.tech. degree in Computer Science from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, J&K, India in 2018. Her masters’ thesis evaluates the queue pathology-based cloud service system. She has obtained B.E. in Computer Science
from Jammu University. Prior to starting her doctorate, she worked on “Indoor Location Positioning Using Passive RFID” as a project associate in the Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing (CPDM) at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, India. She has also worked as a lecturer at IECS Polytechnic, Jammu. Apart from this, she has been representative of various events and co-curricular activities at various stages of her academic life.
