Zac Dair

PhD Student, Munster Technological University

Biography: Zachary Dair graduated with a first-class honours level 8 bachelor’s degree in software development from MTU, attained technical experience working in the innovation labs of Mckesson (Fortune Top 10), and developed research skills by publishing a paper on speech emotion recognition during the final year of his undergrad degree. Since then, he has worked as a tech lead in an e-learning startup and on further research and publications to pursue a PhD.

Research Area: Using psychophysiological data to develop algorithms for personalised/preventative health care. Accomplished by leveraging complex adaptive systems, wearable technology, machine and deep learning alongside practices from applied psychology.
